I am a painter, printmaker and Art Therapist working primarily in abstract form and using mixed media.

Ideas evolve from walking in the landscape, and centre on man-made objects within the landscape - field shapes, footpaths, ancient sites, layering of the earth and 'found objects' within the ground.

Scraped-off layers of paint reveal earlier surfaces, while repeated shapes hint at a hidden symbolism.

When I start a painting, I never know where it will go ..... for me, the joy is in 'not knowing', taking risks, and being open to all that might occur.
