This series of six heads is part of a body of work, exploring what emotions look like and feel like. Inspired by Charles Darwin's lesser-known theory which defined expressions of emotions as universal whether you live in the Outer Hebrides or Outer Mongolia. The piece follows the six emotions that Darwin highlighted as fundamental to human evolution: Happiness, sadness, surprise, fear, anger and disgust. The heads have been sculpting in different types of clay.
