Wood, paper, bitumen, sawdust, photos plants

'The Mountain' is a reflection of longing for natural environment in the polluted world which is obscured by habitual everyday life.

The structure of the mountain is made of wood off-cuts and paper-mache as a symbolic presentation of nature’s fragility, poured with bitumen paint mixed with soil, sawdust and sand. Four growing plants photos - which are known as one of the best air purifiers, are set inside of the work.

I combined plants with chemical paint as a time process experiment; to see whether or not the plants will survive forced toxic environment, as well as to highlight the pure intrinsic value of the natural word, which people still, unfortunately, take for granted.
