A major theme I am pursuing in my work is energy. Letting go of preconceptions and thought processes when I create my large works of art. I allow myself to become a mediator of this life giving force. The creative process becomes part of the art work. How it expresses itself in my work is a subjective matter. It is important what you feel in response to the energy that radiates from the artwork as this response is a reflection of the creative energy that flows through me when I am in the process of painting.

I am a Contemporary Visual Artist specialising in painting large abstracts on canvas. I studied a BA (Hons) Fine Art and have exhibited in a number of galleries and exhibitions UK wide. My paintings are held in many private collections both nationally and internationally.

I also have an interest in Fine Art Photography especially capturing sunrises and sunsets in remote and wild places which in turn has an unconscious influence on my art.

My thirst for travel encompasses meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and absorbing the energy and ambience of place. I have lived in Scotland, Canada, Australia as well as the south of England.
