Colourful waterfront buildings, calm water and three local boats all create the drama for this scene.

The scene was painted using rollers, pieces of shaped wood and plastic card. Collage of card and paper was used to add the shape to the buildings. boats and harbour wall.

Cape Wrath Lighthouse

I visited this remote lighthouse at the very north western tip of Scotalnd on a bright sunny summer day but chose to depict the image of a more somber, bleak day.

Acrylic paint and ink was applied using rollers, shaped pieces of wood and plastic card. Card and paper collage was used to give shape to the lighthouse and wall.

Hebridean Cottages

Whilst island hopping through the Outer Hebides I stopped many times to collect images such as these remote cottages for future paintings.

Acrylic paint and ink has been applied over tissue collage with rollers, pieces of shaped wood and plastic card.
