Textile binder and embroidery on Linen canvas

Part of a larger body of work 'sight and sound' exploring land, sea and sound-scapes of the north atlantic and outer hebrides. The project explores repurposing industry waste linen, blending my textile print and embroidery background with landscape painting practice. This piece focuses on shifting light and reflections as seen by boat, looking back towards the islands silhouette.
