My practice is centerd on the investigation of  emotional value contained in  form and matter. I use industrial materials , tar wax and metal paint ,to describe elemental form , specifically utilising their qualities of being unpretentious, hard working and unglamorous, and in this way being true to the subject and material.

I have been showing my paintings and drawings nationally and on the continent for the past ten years . I hae been particularly interested in showg in public spaces including hospitals , museums and a town hall. I have installed work in two cathedrals , Salisbury Cathedral in 2016 and Wells Cathedral in 2018. with the support of the Arts Council England. My work is held in public and private collections
