Statement

My paintings are born out of a traditional mould. Inspiration comes from the day to day and the beauty I see around me in the Cornish landscape. I strive to connect with my audience by producing evocative images that convey atmosphere, tranquility, understated beauty and have an interesting narrative.

Biography

Born in Manchester in 1970. Having developed a keen interest in all things creative, I attended technical college and went on to study Illustration at Falmouth University, Cornwall. After graduating I settled in Cornwall permanently. I now paint in my garden studio and find the market for my oil paintings through local galleries, social media, word of mouth, membership of art groups and societies and organising solo shows.
