I have begun painting in the last 10 years and paint in oils. Drawing is equally important. It is a pity to have started so late in life but Art work is hugely enjoyable as well as totally frustrating.

Most of my working life has been spent teaching Mathematics and Statistics in FE and He colleges. My first degree is in Mathematical Science from the University of Edinburgh and later I did an M.Sc. in Medical Statistics at Leicester.

Since retiring I have concentrated on painting (UAL) and drawing (Royal Drawing School)
