I am a Bristol based artist. I work primarily in oils and mixed media and have exhibited in the Outer Hebrides. I have a background in landscape painting, and an interest in the textures of coastal and urban environment alike. I am interested in colour and abstraction and in exploring the limits of the medium of painting, for instance what happens during the transition from landscape to 2D surface.
