My work encompasses, landscape, seascape and collage, often working from observational studies as well as memory I use a combination of mixed media to create layers and texture.  I try to convey a sense of place by painting expressively to catch the atmosphere. My abstract paintings and collages are wholly intuitive experimenting with colour, shape and texture.

Rosanne Wiseman, born in St Andrews, Fife in 1951 has lived  in the North West Highlands of Scotland since 1969, In  2018 she achieved a BA (Hons) degree in Painting from the University for the Creative Arts after studying part time with the Open College of the Arts.

Rosanne works from her studio in Mellon Charles, Aultbea and regularly exhibits at local exhibitions and art fairs.
