Statement

I am an artist and printmaker.  I specialise in relief printmaking in lino and wood, working primarily in colour.  I like to experiment with different methods of adding colour to prints, blurring the lines between printmaking and painting, whilst retaining the discipline of editioning.

I make my work about quiet, wild places and the effects of light and pattern.

I travel to Wales and Scotland regualrly, staying in out of the way places in an old camper van.  I spend the time making sketches and taking photographs which I translate into prints in my studio in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
